Jinger Duggar Vuolo has certainly raised eyebrows since her marriage to pastor Jeremy Vuolo. The young woman is the first in her family to wear pants, something the Duggars have shunned as immodest since she was born. However, since marrying Vuolo, she has donned not only pants but also jeans, t-shirts, and other items that were considered forbidden in her days at the Duggar household. She has also admitted to watching movies that are not expressly Christian, in addition to listening to music that isn't religious music. However, the Reality TV star differs most in her beliefs in that she is the only Duggar girl to not announce a pregnancy just a few months after tying the knot.

Her own set of beliefs

According to The Hollywood Gossip, Jinger's father, Jim Bob Duggar, has butted heads with Jinger's husband, Jeremy, regarding Biblical matters on more than one occasion. The pair's beliefs are seemingly different and more liberal than that of the Duggar clan, but according to those close to the Duggars, as told to The Hollywood Gossip, Jim Bob thinks that Jinger should submit to Jeremy's beliefs on any subject matter.

It is rumored that Jinger and Jeremy are using birth control to ensure they don't have a family before they are ready. This would be a big no-no in the Duggar world, but it seems that Jinger's parents are okay with it and think that she should live her life as her own person.

Although she is the "rebel" Duggar, she still lives a fairly conservative life compared to most women her age.

Not all that liberal

While Jinger and Jeremy have been dubbed the "liberal couple" on the show, Jeremy's sermons at their home church in Laredo, Texas, have proven that he isn't actually as liberal as people want to believe he is.

Instead, the young pastor has spoken out vehemently against the LGBTQ community, stating that it is not loving them to accept them and instead, as Christians, they should not be tolerated, so that they can learn the true meaning of Christ's love.

While Jeremy and Jinger do see "regular" films, it appears these are few and far between.

Instead, the pair is often seen at screenings for Christian films in and around Laredo, Texas. Sometimes they travel to see films on the subject of their religion. Jinger may listen to music other than Christian music, as evidenced by her role in Jeremy's mother's charity, Swan 4 Kids, but it doesn't necessarily make her much more liberal than her mega-family.
