Sofia Vergara is once again proving that she can be a Jill-of-all-trades. As if being a famous Hollywood actress and successful businesswoman ain't enough, the "Modern Family" actress is now an advocate against Breast Cancer. According to Daily Mail, the 45-year old actress recently posted a photo of her on her Instagram account wearing what seems to be like a medical robe, all set to have a mammogram. The said Instagram post was captioned with "You have to do it" followed by the hashtags #mammogram and #medicalimaging. Many of the fans applauded Vergara's very timely reminder for women to get regular breast check-ups.

Breast cancer is one of the leading cancers in today's society and the mortality rate is, unfortunately, getting higher. Early detection of breast cancer is one of the most effective ways to combat and stop cancer from spreading in the body.

A much-needed health check

Sofia Vergara may be very busy with her projects and endorsements, but it looks like she has decided to prioritize a schedule for a mammogram. Fans have applauded Vergara's efforts to set a good example for women, especially those who are very busy and on the go.

There are instances when women fail to prioritize their health because of their busy schedule and careers. Sofia Vergara is clearly sending a message that if she, a Hollywood celebrity and entrepreneur, can set aside some time to get a mammogram, then other women can too.

What's best for the chest

This isn't the first time that Sofia Vergara shared on social media her mammogram experiences. In 2016, she also posted a photo of her before undergoing a mammogram with a caption "It's that time of the year."

The "Hot Pursuit" actress is known for her hourglass body and her voluptuous chest. While it may be considered as one of her assets, Vergara shared that having a big chest is not all rainbows and butterflies.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Vergara revealed that she considers buying a bra a nightmare. She also said in the same interview that she wished she had fake boobs.

Speaking of being endowed with big breasts, Vergara's co-star in "Modern Family," Ariel Winter, made the headlines a few years ago when she underwent a breast reduction procedure. According to Winter, she wanted to come clean with the surgical procedure because she wanted to inspire and encourage women who were in a similar situation with her.
