As Season 25 of “Dancing With The Starscontinues, more twists were revealed backstage with some of the contestants allegedly in conflict with one another, according to US Weekly. Maksim Chmerkovskiy and celebrity partner Vanessa Lachey are reportedly not on good terms.

The remaining 11 couples sizzled in the third week of the show. Some of the featured dances included the Argentine tango, quickstep, jazz, and samba. No elimination took place because it was a tribute show in honor for the Las Vegas shooting. The incident was the worst mass shooting in United States history.

Since the episode was called “Guilty Pleasures Night,” the contestants danced to artists like Rihanna, Cyndi Lauper, and NSYNC. YouTube sensation Lindsey Stirling and her partner, Mark Ballas, wowed the judges with their jive performance to Wham!’s “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.”

Meanwhile, actor Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold performed the Charleston, earning one of the highest scores of the episode. Taking inspiration from comic books, they danced to the beat of “The Glory Days” by Michael Glacchino.

Maks, Vanessa in conflict?

Maksim Chmerkovskiy did not appear during the previous episode of “Dancing With The Stars.” He was replaced by Alan Bersten who performed a jazz routine with Vanessa Lachey.

Bersten was eliminated during the second week with her partner Debbie Gibson.

Insiders told US Weekly that one of the Chmerkovskiy brothers had a fight with Lachey backstage. They added that “their personalities are very similar,” a reason why they disagree on certain things.

The two have been playing friends in front of the camera, but were actually not having a good chemistry behind-the-scenes, Goldderby added.

Whether Maksim’s absence in the previous episode was due to this issue, there has been no confirmation. The dance pro has apologized to Vanessa since then, ABC News reported.

Conservative Nick Lachey

Meanwhile, Vanessa Lachey’s husband, Nick, has refused to take off his clothes and reveal some skin in the next performances on the show, Radar Online reported.

There have been several contestants in the hit dance competition who agreed to show some skin while performing. However, insiders told Radar Online that Nick wants to keep himself covered while dancing on stage. They added that he is a very “conservative” person.

“Dancing With The Stars” is once again returning next week for another episode featuring a new set of performances from the contestants. It is aired on ABC.
