Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander officially sealed their relationship, as they reportedly tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony over the weekend. In a report obtained by Entertainment Tonight, the couple got married on Sunday in Ibiza. Some of the latest photos of the couple showed them wearing their wedding rings.
Over the weekend, Vikander was spotted wearing an all-white wedding dress for her big day. Meanwhile, the 40-year old Fassbender showed off his abs as he wore an unbuttoned outfit. The couple reportedly started dating back in 2014; and just this Saturday, both of them decided to seal their lifetime commitment to each other, together with their families.
Luxurious resort
In an exclusive report obtained by People, Fassbender and Vikander had taken their guests in a luxurious resort called the La Granja farmstead. The ceremony was reportedly attended by the couple's closest friends and families. According to sources close to the couple, Fassbender was spotted hanging out with his friends and family on the resort, on that night prior to the wedding.
On the other hand, Vikander, the Swedish actress, was spotted wearing a flowy-white beachy dress while just having a great time with her friends. The couple, together with their selected friends and families, had the best time on the day before their intimate wedding.
Keeping mum about the wedding details
Despite the wedding news circulating online, the couple remained silent about the details of their intimate wedding. Prior to tying the knot, the couple has always been known for keeping their relationship in private. However, despite being low-key, both had been opened about how they feel towards each other.
During their previous interview, the couple revealed to Entertainment Weekly that they value their relationship a lot. Vikander further added that both of them agreed to keep things between them in private and to stay away from the spotlight as much as possible.
Despite being celebrity couple, Vikander revealed that she's the kind of woman who loved to keep personal matters in private, especially in a relationship.
In the midst of their romance news, Fassbender and Vikander reportedly made their relationship official back in 2016, when both attended the Golden Globes event.
It was also the exact time when the actor had been very proud of her girlfriend. Vikander reportedly won two nominations for her acting performance in "The Danish Girl," and "Ex Machina."
