Ten couples remain on "Dancing With The Stars." Last week during the "Most Memorable Year" themed episode Derek Fisher and Sharna Burgess were eliminated. It is always sad to see some of the favorites leave. It is too bad Sharna left last week. That's because she and Val Chmerkovskiy are the only two pros who have danced in every Disney Night episode since it started in Season 18. Therefore, Val will be King of Disney Night without Sharna there to be the queen.

Judges on Disney Night

Disney Night is always a fun episode where the ballroom becomes the happiest place on earth for an hour.

Even the judges are nicer and give higher scores. It is judge Bruno Tonioli's favorite theme. Watch him give a lot of 10s on Monday night. Head judge Len Goodman softens up just a bit. More than likely his highest score will be 9s unless something really impresses him.

Dancers and their films

The couples chose a favorite Disney film to feature. They will wear costumes and perform a dance based on a song from the movie. It is great entertainment. However, there is a slight drawback.

Viewers who have watched every season will recognize that some of the films have been featured multiple times. Some have been seen as many as three and four times since the theme started in Season 18. The good thing about that is the songs, dances, and dancers are always different.

Return of popular films

"The Little Mermaid" has been the most popular Disney film. It will appear for the fourth time when Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko dance the rumba to a song from the film on Monday, October 16.

Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas will perform scenes from "Pinocchio." It will be the third appearance for that Disney film.

Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd will perform a quickstep inspired by "The Jungle Book" for its third time. Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke were inspired to feature a scene from "The Lion King" during its third appearance. Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson will bring back "Pirates of the Caribbean" for its second time.

Movies inspired for the first time

There will be some new movies that have never been represented before. Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy chose "Steamboat Willie" as a newbie. Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev selected the new film "Coco." It will be refreshing to see Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold dance to "Moana" that has never appeared before.

Drew Scott and Emma Slater will perform a Viennese Waltz from "The Muppet Movie." That particular film was featured during last season's Movie Night but not Disney Night. Vanessa Lachey and Maks Chmerkovskiy will waltz to a scene from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" that's making its first appearance.
