Ben Affleck was spotted stepping out of a Los Angeles treatment facility and was also seen shopping for artwork with his girlfriend Lindsay Shookus.

Affleck completed a rehabilitation stint earlier this year

Affleck has addressed in the past that he has been having trouble with alcohol addiction so he sought help in February this year after a stint in rehab. He talked about his decision to enter a treatment program after he completed it in March.

The 45-year-old said that he already dealt with alcohol addiction in the past and that he continues to confront it at present. He said that he underwent treatment because he wants to “live life to the fullest and be the best father” he can be to his three children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. The pair have two daughters and a son -- Seraphina, Violet, and Samuel.

The “Justice League” actor continues to get help and his latest admission at an outpatient treatment center was last Wednesday and he got out days later. According to Christian Post, after Affleck left the treatment center, he looked really happy, refreshed, and in a good mood.

Affleck spotted with Shookus

Entertainment Weekly reported that Affleck and Shookus were spotted art shopping on Monday at an art gallery in New York City. An eye witness told the publication that the new couple were holding hands and were very affectionate and comfortable around each other while they were shopping. The eye witness continued to say that Shookus was the one doing the shopping but she consulted Affleck for his opinion whenever she considered buying a piece.

Affleck attended ‘Saturday Night Live’ to support Shookus

Shookus is one of the producers of the hit show “Saturday Night Live.” During the last episode of the show, Affleck decided to drop by to show his support for Shookus. During his visit, he was spotted wearing a light blue leather jacket and a dark blue shirt and jeans.

They also attended their first Hollywood event as a couple together during the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. Shookus received an award for “Saturday Night Live.”

The two were first linked in September, five months after Garner and Affleck filed legal documents as they sought to have joint custody of their three children. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck decided to end their marriage in 2015. Affleck and Garner have remained civil since that time, and have been going on trips as a family with their three kids.
