In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Hurricane Irma in Florida, various celebrities took part in a benefit event to raise money for those impacted by the storms. In response, right-wing firebrand Tomi Lahren was not pleased that many Hollywood stars brought up the issue climate change in the process.

In the last two and a half weeks, two major storms ripped through parts of the United States, causing dozens of deaths and millions to be forced out of their homes. It started with Hurricane Harvey which was labeled a Category 4 with winds that reached over 130 mph.

Houston was hit the worst, with thousands being forced to leave the city and evacuate to safer grounds. Fast forward to this past weekend and the Category 5 Hurricane Irma made its way through he Caribbean before touching down in the southern part of Florida. The storm then traveled north to parts of South Carolina before finally losing steam. In the aftermath, dozens of celebrities decided to take part in the "Hand in Hand" telethon earlier this week, raising $44 million for hurricane survivors. During the event, various celebrities decided to speak about the growing issue of climate change, much to the chagrin of Tomi Lahren, who voiced her views during the September 13 edition of "Final Thoughts" on Fox News.

On Wednesday night, Tomi Lahren attacked into those celebrities for allegedly using the tragedy of the hurricane to push their "liberal agenda" of climate change. "It didn’t take long for those self-righteous stars to turn a charity night into a political statement because, why let a good tragedy go to waste, right?" Lahren rhetorically asked.

"According to Stevie Wonder, if you don’t believe man-made global warming is responsible for the coming apocalypse, you must be blind or unintelligent," she continued.

"He was followed by Scientist Beyonce, who cautioned us to prepare for "what comes next." Let me guess, Beyonce, more weather?

Yeah, that's a safe bet," Tomi Lahren went on to say. The outspoken conservative then called out Leonardo DiCaprio, Beyonce, and Steve Wonder for speaking against climate change while using modes of transpiration that are not good for the environment. In closing, Lahren stated, "Until you're willing to downgrade your fancy lifestyle and give up your energy-sucking ways, don't lecture the rest of us on climate change."

Tomi's take

Over the last year, Tomi Lahren has become a household name. The blonde bombshell got her first big break as part of Glenn Beck's Blaze TV where she would routinely bash liberals and Democrats while showing her support for Donald Trump.

After parting ways in controversial fashion with the Blaze, Lahren was hired by Fox News at the end of the summer and has been appearing on the network to continue her brand of right-wing talking-points and outrage.
