Lydia Mclaughlin decided to return to "The Real Housewives of Orange County" after spending a few years away from the spotlight. Lydia revealed that she needed time to have another child, as she and her husband had been trying to have a daughter. After the third child turned out to be a son, Lydia hinted she was done having children, as she really wanted to keep a career going. She decided to come back to "The Real Housewives of Orange County," even though it had been very dramatic for her years prior. However, it sounds like Lydia has matured during her time away from the show and she's not scared when it comes to speaking her mind this time around.

According to a new report, Lydia McLaughlin is now revealing how she felt after she had gone on a walk with Meghan King Edmonds. During their night out, Lydia was shocked that Kelly Dodd would tell Meghan that it was wrong for her to be out with the girls when she had a newborn at home. However, when McLaughlin learned about Meghan asking Kelly about having a boyfriend despite being married, she understood why Kelly was furious with her. Kelly was just lashing out at King Edmonds for insinuating that she had cheated on her husband. This is hurtful considering they were supposed to be friends.

Not given a chance

When Lydia McLaughlin and Meghan went for a walk, Lydia tried to get Meghan's side of the story.

However, Lydia revealed that she sided with Kelly and when King Edmonds learned this, she completely broke down.

"I don't want to take sides...I just felt like Meghan needed to hear that she wasn't an innocent victim in the whole thing. I feel like Meghan overreacted and didn't let me explain myself, and when I even tell her I'm scared to tell her what I meant, she cuts me off and cusses at me saying she doesn't give an F.

Yikes," Lydia McLaughlin writes in her Bravo blog.

As she pointed out, she didn't understand why King Edmonds broke down when McLaughlin was sharing her point of view. Lydia reveals she was also emotional when she was breastfeeding, but she would never break down and cry.

More going on

Several of the housewives have revealed that perhaps more is going on in Meghan's life.

Lydia McLaughlin didn't suggest that more was going on, but she merely hints that perhaps Meghan was crying to get sympathy. The idea of the victim role has been brought up several times by her co-stars, but Meghan would probably disagree.

What do you think of Lydia McLaughlin's comments about Meghan? Do you think she is playing the victim or do you think the hormones are to blame?
