On "The Young and the Restless" the fight for Billy Abbot has intensified. Both Phyllis and Victoria want this man, but only one will end up with him. Both women are behaving erratically but for different reasons. Vicky is fighting for her family and her company. Phyllis simply does not want to be bested by the daughter of Victor Newman. Victoria may have a health issue related to her fall that is causing her changing moods. Phyllis is simply being her usual self.

Is this the end of Philly?

Last week Phylis went to see Michael and Lauren and laid her cards on the table.

She believes Victoria is going out of her way to steal Billy but Michael set her straight. He said that he has seen nothing more than a business relationship between the ex-spouses, but Phyllis is not buying it. She is jealous of all the overtime Villy is putting into saving Brash and Sassy. She really wishes Billy did not work with Victoria at all. Michael and Laureen try to ease her mind, but it does no good.

Later, when Phyllis enters the company elevator, Victoria is behind her. Vicky stops the elevator and confronts Phylis about encouraging Ben Hochman to spend time with her. Phyllis must answer for trying to set Vicky up with the business mogul to take her away from Billy. This interference almost cost Ms.

Newman the company she loves. Phyllis also will eventually find out that Billy used her laptop to gain information on Jabot to help his ex-wife save Brash and Sassy. This will no doubt push Phyllis over the edge and be the end of Philly.

Spoiler alerts suggest that a showdown is coming

For some time now spoiler alerts have been hinting that a choice is going to be made.

Fans of "The Young and the Restless" are divided as far as who they want to see Billy with. The way things are going, it looks like Philly is on the way out and Villy will be the winner. Phyllis will not be able to deal with the fact that Billy chooses Victoria and Brash and Sassy over her. She viewed Vicky as a cold businesswoman with an ice queen personality.

and saw herself as the sexy female no man could resist.

Phyllis cheated on Jack to be with his brother and there really is no coming back from that fact. This fact lies beneath every word, action and thought, even when it is not actively being spoken of. Billy will more than likely downplay his decision and emphasize the fact that Phyllis turned Ben Hochman loose on Victoria. No matter how she tries to explain it, he will see her as working with Jack to take down the mother of his children.

The bottom line is that in spite of it all, Billy and Victoria really do love each other. When the showdown happens, Villy will come out strong and Philly will be history. Stay tuned weekday afternoons at 12:30 p.m. for more episodes of "The Young and the Restless."
