Showtimes' Shameless season 8 teaser indicates that Frank Gallagher has a new life plan, not only for himself but all the entire Gallagher family. "Shameless" fans are well aware by now that when it comes to Frank, chaos is not far behind him. The new and improved Frank reveals huge changes both inside and out.
Life after Monica
Frank has turned a new page in his life, one where he attempts to walk the straight and narrow. He will clean up his act, no more drugs and booze for Frank, he will also get a J-O-B. That's right Frank is going to give working for his money a try instead of scamming.
He is also going to attempt to make amends with his kids. This will not go over too well for Frank because trust is a huge issue when it comes to him, and he has not earned that.
Don't worry too much about this though fans this Frank make-over is bound to be short-lived, after all, what is so "Shameless" about a man who works, loves his kids and stays sober as far as entertainment value goes? Not much and Frank is going to see that what is normal for most people does not fit into his life plan.
Does the Gallagher clan get sucked in by Frank?
When his job finally blows up in his face, and Frank can't go back to collecting disability, he is going to have to come up with a way to survive, or someone to survive on.
Season 8 for the Gallagher clan reveals they are all trying to survive best as they can, and for each one of them, this means something different.
After all, they had Frank and Monica as parents, so there was already two strikes against them to start. Whether or not they want to believe it they all carry pieces of their parents within them.
Fiona's screwed up views on love continue and keeping a committed relationship together is going to continue to be an issue. Lip is all about sobriety this year and will have to distance himself from all and any who could throw him off his course, even his brothers and sisters. Ian, well it is speculated that he is going to be a mess.
He is a tortured soul, his Bi-Polar condition is going to come back into play as well as his illegal activities with Mickey.
Debbie is going to continue to have a hard time as a parent. She could have more of Monica's traits than she wants to believe. Does this mean Debbie could go off the rails and take off on Frannie to have her fun? If so, what happens to Frannie, will Frank step in, will Fi put her life on hold again to help raise Frannie and Liam?
As for Carl, being the child Frank feels he can manipulate the easiest, he could end up being the most interesting Gallagher of season 8. He has gone from bad to good, could Carl resort back to his past criminal ways? Fans are also feeling that Kev and V's take back the Alibi plot is going to one of most entertaining.
We are all looking forward to whatever kooky plans Kev comes up to get his revenge on Lana. She had better watch her brake cables because Kev and V mean business!
Whatever chaos goes down on season 8 of "Shameless" one thing is for sure, fans can not get enough of the Gallagher family. What would like to see happen in season 8? "Shameless" returns November 5 on Showtime.
