Game of Thrones fan-made theories have spread like wildfire following the show’s season finale last month. One theory that says Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) will kill Cersei (Lena Headey). Fans can recall when the Kingslayer left his twin sister/lover for good after she lied to Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). The queen assured the other fancy folks that she would send the Lannister forces north to fight with them against the Night King and his army of the dead.

Jamie is a man of honor (somehow), and Coster-Waldau recently hinted that it’s possible that he will kill the queen.

Killing Cersei ‘makes sense’

Recently, Coster-Waldau sat down with InStyle and provided some interesting information about “Game of Thrones” Season 8. Asked whether fans are right that Jamie will end up killing Cersei, the actor said that it’s possible although there might be a game-changer. “It makes sense. He killed the Mad King and now he’s killing the Mad Queen,” he said. “It’d be like the Red Wedding 2. That would be really horrible. I hope he wouldn’t.” However, if he is really the father of Cersei’s child, then it might be a game-changer for him knowing that there is a little Lannister in her womb.

The prophecy

This “Game of Thrones” theory already has everyone buzzing after a “valonqar” prophecy was recalled by fans. The term is High Valyrian and means “little brother.” Maggy the frog told Cersei when she was younger that she will be killed by a valonqar. Jamie was born a few minutes after the Mad Queen, which makes him younger than her. However, Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) is also a possible candidate for killing Cersei, given the hate that the siblings have for each other. Either way, we’re pretty sure that those who don’t like the queen would rejoice seeing her dead for good.

Is Euron the father of the baby?

Coster-Waldau also told InStyle that he is no longer sure that he is the father of Cersei’s child.

It can be recalled during the season finale of “Game of Thrones,” that Jamie was furious that his twin sister has been meeting Euron Greyjoy behind his back. Of course, he already doubts if he is really the father of the baby, knowing that Cersei has been seeing Euron. What’s more disappointing for him, is that she has been planning something without his knowledge as the commander of the Kingsguard.

What do you reckon about Jamie killing Cersei in “Game of Thrones” Season 8? How about the idea that Euron is the father of Cersei’s unborn baby?
