Game of Thrones is arguably the most famous TV series in the world. season 7 has been one of the biggest hits for HBO this year. The show managed to bring most ratings possible. There sadly haven’t been too many surprising elements in the show, thanks to the endless theories, leaks, and speculations. The same is taking place for the show’s next season. But show-runners, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are trying to prevent this as far as possible. In fact, it is being rumored that they are shooting multiple endings to the show. Therefore, if any important details were to get leaked, they would air the alternate ending to it.

Season 7's ending

As noted by Den of Geek, the season 7 finale ended with a major revelation. While Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow were seen knotting up in a bond of love, Snow’s legitimacy was consequently confirmed. Bran Stark’s vision stated that Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen had secretly married each other. This made Snow the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. Moreover, Daenerys and Snow would be biologically related, which would make their relationship inappropriate. The next season is going to provide more details to this particular storyline.

Season 8 rumored premiere date

The President of Programming (HBO), Casey Bloys confirmed in July last year that “Game of Thrones” Season 8 will be the final season.

Following which, show-runners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss also offered confirmation on this matter. As far as the premiere date of the show’s eighth season is concerned, it doesn’t seem like it will take place before 2019. This comes across as surprising because Bloys already suggested that Benioff and D.B. Weiss have already finished the final script of the show.

The first episode is going to be created by Dave Hill. He has written season 7’s fifth episode called, “East Watch,” before. He wrote “Home” and “Songs of the Harpy” back in 2016 and 2015 respectively. The second episode of season 8 will be written by Bryan Cogman. He has been a part of the show since 2014. The final four episodes will be completed by Benioff and Weiss.

Fans are at peace as most of their favorite characters will be surviving till the next season. According to a report by The Express, Tycho Nestoris is going to return in the next installment. He is going to play the role of Braavosi banker in the next season. He will come to use, during his confrontation with Cersei Lannister.
