Latin Night was a blast during the latest episode of Dancing With The Stars as the dancers added maracas and piñatas in their routine. But for the eliminated pair, not so much. The “Dancing With The Stars” contestants, Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson amazed the judges with their cha-cha routine that was close to flawless, thereby receiving the highest scores, especially from Bruno Tonioli.

Bruno Mars’ record, “Perm”, played in the background as the pair were dressed in gold.

What happened in the recent episode?

Debbie Gibson and her partner, Alan Bersten, had to say goodbye on season 25 of “Dancing with the Stars” after their elimination. The pair came up with an Argentine Tango routine (the same with Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd’s) with Camila Cabello’s song, “Havana”. Although it was a disappointing night for the pair, Debbie Gibson was grateful for the praises she received.

Two other pairs also made it close to the top like Muniz and Carson: Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas (Salsa routine) and Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold (Samba routine).

Good things happened for Muniz and Carson

It is a good week for Muniz as he celebrates his and Carson’s lead in Week 2. In an interview with ET, the actor said, “I am like in a fantasy land. This is like, my dream situation… I love this so much, I really, really do.” His partner also commented on how intense Muniz transitions from rehearsals to the stage. “He is a completely different person in rehearsals,” she said.

The race driver admitted that he feels the anxiety every time the show is about to start saying, “I am like, ‘Why am I doing this?’, ‘This is the most horrendous thing I have ever done.’ And then immediately after, this is the greatest thing on the planet.” It seems like he plans to keep on wearing four-layers in the show too.

Surely, we never missed Bruno falling off of his chair over what Carrie Ann said about Drew Scott’s dancing history, which was then followed by some laughs from the audience. Either way, the “Property Brothers” star and his professional partner, Emma Slater, still made the cut as they received triple sevens from the judges.

Season 25 just started and it won’t be long before everyone starts having spray-tans for the sake of showing more skin. Perhaps this could help them earn additional points from the judges? Well, Frankie Muniz does not think so, but he is definitely leading the pack.
