The latest updates and spoilers for "Arrow" Season 6 have Stephen Amell talking about the next "Arrowverse" crossover episodes and compares them to a four-hour movie. He also talked about the possibility of his show crossing over with another CW Network produced TV series, "Supernatural."

A four-hour film for the next 'Arrowverse' crossover

Warner Bros. and the CW Network announced the next "Arrowverse" crossover titled, "Crisis on Earth X" and it will feature the heroes from all DC TV shows joining forces to stop the menace of Earth X Nazis from taking over their world.

The episode will feature evil versions of Supergirl, The Flash, and Green Arrow, and their invasion will happen during Barry Allen and Iris West's wedding day.

Stephen Amell stated during Salt Lake Comic Con that the new crossover will be like a four-hour film due to the massive storyline and promised fans that the plot will be "really, really good." The producers promised fans that the threat of Earth X will surpass the invasion of the Dominators in the previous crossover, and it will serve as their greatest challenge yet.

For now, all the "Arrowverse" heroes will be busy taking care of their own problems such as Barry's return from the Speed Force, Team Arrow fighting a new villain named Richard Dragon, Supergirl's identity issues, and the Legends fixing numerous time aberrations they have created after season 2.

'Arrow'/'Supernatural' team-up?

Amell continued his unofficial campaign for an "Arrow" and "Supernatural" crossover during Salt Lake Comic Con and hosted his very own panel to talk about it.

"Without breaking the fourth wall with too much gusto, If I could show up on "Supernatural" as, like, someone pumping gas in their car or something like that, or someone that they murder, that would be tremendous," Amell said.

While the much-talked-about team up is not exactly in the cards for the executive producers for both shows, the "TMNT 2" star is more than happy to settle for a guest or cameo appearance as long as he can deliver the promise he had for the fans.

"Arrow" season 6 will have Oliver Queen and his team continue to protect Star City against old and new threats, while he tries to connect with his son, William, and be a father to him.

The show will also feature a two-part Deathstroke episode as Slade Wilson tries to save his son, Joe, from a Kasnian prison. The episode will have flashbacks about Slade's family life before he met Oliver in the Lian Yu.
