Angelina Jolie reportedly attended the "First They Killed My Father" movie premiere, together with her six children. Jolie was spotted at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival, making it a family affair. The Hollywood actress was seen to be all smiles with her kids at the Princess of Wales Theater on Monday.

According to People, Jolie was spotted in a black Ralph and Russo dress on the red carpet. She placed her hands around her two sons, Pax and Maddox, who were reportedly part of the movie. Meanwhile, Jolie and her sons were also joined by her other children, Zaharah, Shiloh, and the twins, Knox and Vivienne.

Red carpet premiere

Jolie and her children were also joined by Loung Ung, the memoir author of the movie, "First They Killed My Father." Other personalities like Kimhak Mun and Sareum Srey Moch were also spotted during the red carpet movie event.

Apparently, it was the second red carpet event where her six children joined Jolie following the Labor Day's weekend at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado.

This movie is the Hollywood actress' latest directorial project, and it has been earning good reviews recently. The film centers around the story of a little girl in Cambodia, who had brutal experiences under the regime of Khmer Rouge. The film reportedly involved her son, Maddox, behind the scenes, who was also born in Cambodia.

Global launching

Following the movie premiere, People further reported that "First They Killed My Father" will be launched globally on Netflix on September 15. It is also the exact date that the movie will be officially released in theaters. The film is believed to be a passion project for the Hollywood actress.

The red carpet premiere was a historical event for her entire family since it has been quite rare for her six children to join her for public occasions.

Maddox was also reported attending the event in a professional capacity as he is the producer of Jolie's latest directorial project.

Several photos of Jolie's family surfaced online. Her followers were also quick to give their comments and admiration to the Oscar-winning actress as she regularly manages her time between her work and her family.

This recent family red carpet event is something that the actress seemed to enjoy very much. According to Sydney Morning Herald, before the recent film festival, Jolie's "First They Killed My Father" also premiered in Cambodia back in February together with her six children.
