The 13 pairs of contestants on “Dancing With The Stars” went back on stage for the second week of competition. After their impressive first dances last week, they have stepped up their game to battle it out and become the new winner of the reality show’s 25th season, Yahoo! Entertainment reported.

The episodes on the second week of “Dancing With The Stars” featured ballroom and Latin dances.

The list of songs used with their routines varied from today’s chart-topping hits to the hits of the past decades.

Two pairs were eliminated in the previous episodes. Here are some of the highlights and the best performances on the show’s second week.

Alan Bersten's impeccable style

Monday’s “Ballroom Night” was a chance for these celebrities to show off their talent in this genre, with performances that included quickstep, waltz, and tango.

Dancing pro, Alan Bersten performed a fun version of quickstep with the music titled “This Is My Time” by Amy Stroup. There were a lot of leaps, spins and smiles as he led his partner Debbie Gibson across the stage.

He was wearing a bright blue long-sleeve top, black pants and suspenders for this routine.

Even the stage itself matched their outfits that featured blue-colored light effects. Bersten’s appearance in the 25th season of “Dancing With The Stars” was his first time ever. Meanwhile, 80s pop icon Gibson lived up to her time performing quickstep on the stage designed with the 80s decade as inspiration.

NFL superstar Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke danced the foxtrot to Zayn Malik’s “Pillowtalk.” It was a sensual rendition of the ballroom genre as the dance pro unbuttoned Owens’ polo in the middle of the performance, revealing his sculpted chest. They were given 20 points as they move on safely to the next round of the competition.

Nikki Bella dances ‘Despacito’

WWE Diva Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev’s samba routine just matched with Luis Fonsi’s Latin hit song “Despacito.” They used the original version of the song without rendering a remix.

It was a different type of samba as they showcased more hip movements while retaining the traditional footwork of the dance. Carrie Ann Inaba on the judging panel praised the “improved connection” between the two, while Bruno Tonioli said Bella’s act was “teasing.”

Meanwhile, “Property Brothers” star Drew Scott and partner Emma Slater chose to go mellow in their rumba performance to “Lights Down Low” by Max featuring Gnash. At the end of Wednesday’s episode, Alan Bersten, Debbie Gibson, Barbara Corcoran and Keo Motsepe were eliminated.
