Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are still going strong

Robert Pattinson started dating English songstress FKA Twigs or Tahliah Debrett Barnett in September 2014 and has been engaged to her since April 2015. Recently, R-Patz said he is still “kind of engaged” to his fiancée but also made headlines when he was spotted having dinner with Katy Perry. His fiancée, in response, was also photographed with a French model in Ibiza, which made fans suggest that something wrong is going on between them.

However, an insider said that they are still together despite breakup rumors.

R-Patz and Twigs are still going strong

A source recently told People that Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are “definitely still together” despite the rumors that he’s now dating American pop star, Katy Perry. They made headlines last week when they were photographed having a cozy dinner at a hotel restaurant in West Hollywood with some friends. The controversial dinner took place a week after R-Patz told Howard Stern that he is still “kind of engaged” to the English singer-songwriter. However, he also admitted that he’s been having relationship issues because of some people that keep hurting them.

The actor said that he keeps his relationship low-key to protect it from a “crack group of crazies,” that keeps bothering them.

Robert Pattinson, however, said that he tries to patch things up for FKA Twigs especially as she’s been facing racial criticism for dating him. Unfortunately, he revealed that he doesn’t always succeed. ““I mean basically, for whatever reason with Twilight – I don’t know whether it is a specific thing with the audience,” he told Stern. “There’s like a crack group of crazies that think every single decision you’re making is either creating some kind of conspiracy…” Despite all things that they’ve been through, the couple remains strong and R-Patz even gushes over his fiancée, saying that she’s amazing and super talented.

Despite being engaged, Robert Pattinson has been linked to Katy Perry since she broke up with actor Orlando Bloom. A source previously told Life & Style that they’ve been communicating non-stop and that they would sign-off with kissing emojis as well as calling each other babe and honey. However, the pop star denied these allegations and said that he’s like a younger brother to her. Another source also told People that they’ve been long-time friends and that they’re always cuddly with each other.

However, some fans are seemed unconvinced. Others suggest that the recent comments by Robert Pattinson about his relationship mean something serious. Fans were even more intrigued when he only replied “Eh” to the question whether he is getting married. What do you think?
