Country superstar, Thomas Rhett, and wife Lauren Akins welcomed their new born baby on Saturday night. The music star became a father of two baby girls when his lady love, Lauren Akins, gave birth to their second daughter, Ada James Akins.

The baby girl has arrived

According to E! Online, Ada James Akins joined Willa Grey Akins, her elder sister on August 12, 2017, in Nashville. Thomas Rhett captioned a sweet Instagram picture on Sunday Afternoon beside his wife and new daughter. The “Star of the Show” singer wrote in the caption: “Last night at 10:28 PM Ada James Akins was born and it was truly the most amazing thing I have ever experienced.”

He further added by paying tribute to his wife that he had never met such a strongest human being before who labored for almost 36 hours.

His paramour, Lauren Akins reposted the same cute photo on Instagram account of her own and reverberated her husband’s feelings by saying, “Our baby girl is here." Lauren also bowed down before Lord and thanked everyone for prayers in the caption. This new baby came as a pleasant surprise to Rhett family.

Baby sister is home now

This newcomer came three months after her 21-months-old adopted sister. Little Willa Grey is pretty happy to have a baby sister finally. Currently, they are at home with their adorable junior. The baby girl weighs 7 pounds 3 ounces. The family is in full swing, and resting for now. After becoming parents to this new born, they feel they got the best of both worlds. Mother, Lauren later shared another photo on Instagram that showed up her pretty infant with an elegant pink, white ribbon around her head.

Two bundles of joy in Rhett family

According to People magazine, Rhett and better-half Lauren had stopped struggling to conceive. When they decided to adopt a baby, they had found out the news of expecting their first baby, another girl. The couple was thrilled and exhibited their baby bumps on Instagram. Though, they didn’t stop the adoption process.

Before officially adopting Willa, Lauren met 18-month-old Willa Grey while visiting Uganda on her trip to 147 Million Orphans in December. After that trip, the pair had decided to adopt her. In May, they finally welcomed this baby home.

Lauren and her superstar husband had started their journey as childhood friends.

Later, they got married on October 12, 2012. Their fifth anniversary is coming soon. As of now, they are so excited about having two little angels in their lives. Congratulations for becoming a family of four!
