After the action packed “The Spoils of War”, there are only 3 episodes left in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. The trailer for “Eastwatch” was released after “The Spoils Of War” was aired, and recently HBO released the official photos for the upcoming episode. Based on the episode’s title and the trailer, the White Walkers will be the talk of the episode.

In the trailer, it looks like Jon will finally meet Drogon up-close.

Will the dragon sense the Targaryen blood in him? Then there’s Jaime. In “The Spoils of War” he was sinking to the bottom of the lake, will he survive? There has been no sight of him in the episode trailer and photos. Here’s what to expect in “Eastwatch.”

Mad Queen

In “The Spoils of War” Daenerys has had enough of the ‘clever plans.’ She is losing the war against Cersei. She lost most of her fleet, her allies and the Unsullied are in Casterly Rock. Daenerys unleashed the Dothraki horde and Drogon and attacked Jaime and the Lannister army. She set the trains of caravans and lots of men on fire.

In the trailer, we hear Varys telling Tyrion that he has to find a way to make her (Daenerys) listen.

Also in the trailer, Daenerys told the men who survived the attack to bend the knee and join her or refuse and die. Sounds a bit scary and a little evil.

There has been a theory that Daenerys is actually the villain of the series. Daenerys always seemed like the one to root for in the show, but the theory suggests that she will become colder and head to the dark side. Eventually, the Mother of Dragons will turn out to be the ‘Mad Queen’ like her father, the ‘Mad King’ Aerys Targaryen. Iain Glenn, who plays Jorah Mormont, said in a previous interview with HuffPost, that Daenerys becoming the villain would be highly unlikely.

New discoveries

In the beginning of Season 7, Sam was working at the Citadel.

He’s had his fair share of success despite his disgusting and repetitive duties. Sam took some books from the forbidden section of the library and did some research with the help of Gilly. They discovered that there is an abundance of dragonglass in Dragonstone and quickly sent a raven to Jon to inform his friend.

Most recently, Sam cured Jorah of greyscale. He literally peeled the greyscale off Jorah’s skin and applied some special ointment. Now Jorah is a cured and free man and on his way to Daenerys’ side. In one of the photos released for the episode, it looks like Sam will be making an appearance in “Eastwatch” doing more research.

What else will he discover? Will he find out more about the White Walkers in time?

Will he find out why the White Walkers are marching south and what they actually want?

The White Walkers

Ever since Hardhome, the White Walkers are scarier and even more dangerous. No wonder Jon couldn’t get them off his mind. In the episode trailer, a raven came from Winterfell. Jon told Daenerys and her council that Bran saw the Night King and his army (giant wights included) marching towards Eastwatch.

Eastwatch was mentioned before in “Dragonstone” when Jon asked the wildlings to man the castle Eastwatch-by-the-sea. It was also the same location that The Hound saw in the vision in the flames. It’s thrilling to see the pieces of puzzles coming together. The Hound is traveling North with the Brotherhood.

In the Season 7 trailer, it was shown that Beric Dondarrion with his flaming sword will be fighting alongside Jon and Tormund.

Will Daenerys help Jon? Or will Jon bend the knee first? Have they harvested enough dragonglass for weapons? Are the army in training in Winterfell ready? What else does Bran know about them?

There are three episodes left in the season and it looks like bigger things are about to happen. Don’t forget to watch “Eastwatch” on August 13 on HBO.
