The official "Dancing With The Stars" 2017 cast announcement won't take place until September 6 during "Good Morning America." However, fans already have a taste of what's to come, thanks to a set of weekend posts by tweeter @putUincespence, who runs the renowned fan site, PureDWTS. The tweets spoiled a total of five rumored couples and doled out hints about celebrity partners of three additional popular pros.

'Dancing with the Stars' season 25 ushers in the Chmerlachey Showdown

The first small batch "DWTS" 2017 pairings were revealed on the morning of August 26. Just a day after a number of sources announced that "98 Degrees" singer Nick Lachey, 43, and his wife, 36-year old TV personality Vanessa Minnillo Lachey, would both be strutting their stuff in the storied ballroom, @putUincespence tweeted that they'd be paired up with the only set of married pro dancers in the competition: Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Although the Lacheys won't be the first married couple to split up and go head to head for the coveted "Dancing with the Stars" Mirroball Trophy — that distinction went to season 21's Alexa Penavega and Carlos Penavega they will be the first to do a direct husband-versus-wife partner swap with a set of pros.

The other bit of partnership news dropped on August 26 was the identity of Artem Chigvintsev's celebrity match-up: "Total Divas" star, Nikki Bella.

A reality TV star for defending champ Emma Slater

The morning of August 27 ushered in more spoilers from PureDWTS' inside source, including the celebrity partners for "Dancing with the Stars" season 24 champion Emma Slater and runner-up Lindsay Arnold, and hinted at three other talented pros. According to the source, Slater will attempt to defend her title with "Property Brothers" star Drew Scott, who allegedly requested that Slater be his partner, while Arnold will team up with "Hamilton" actor Jordan Fisher.

The insider also dropped hints that describe three other pro dancers' "DWTS" season 25 partners.

According to PureDWTS, Alan Bersten, who will enjoy his first-ever season as a pro coach, will work with an "older" partner who "has potential." Sharna Burgess will look for her first Mirrorball Trophy with an NBA player, and Valentin Chmerkovskiy will coach a disabled partner who has an inspirational story.

Who else will cha cha, waltz, and samba their way toward Mirrorball glory when "Dancing with the Stars" 2017 begins on September 18? Catch the September 6 edition of "Good Morning America" for a first-glimpse at the star-studded cast.
