Fans of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt rejoiced when news broke out this week that the couple is pausing the legal process of their divorce. Although putting their divorce on hold does not necessarily mean that they have decided to get back together, many hoping that it could be a good sign.

Aside from the thousands of fans following their love story, the kids of Pitt and Jolie are among the most excited and hopeful to have a good outcome from the indefinite halt of the divorce. According to Hollywood Life, they have obtained information that Pitt and Jolie's children would love to see them get back together.

Although the reason for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce was not divulged to the public, many have speculated that the former's alcoholism was the main cause. Further, Pitt was allegedly a totally different father and husband whenever he got drunk, which was the triggering point for Jolie to decide to get a separation - for her to bring her kids away from the "Fight Club" actor.

A changed man

After the divorce news broke out, the "Maleficent" actress moved into another mansion with her kids. Brad Pitt, on the other hand, was left alone. However, it seems like being left alone had a positive outcome because the 53-year old actor had some time to rethink his ways.

In an interview with GQ Magazine, Brad Pitt didn't deny the fact that he was a regular drinker.

However, he emphasized that he remained professional and made sure not to cross any lines. Nevertheless, he admitted that he didn't want to be that kind of man anymore and straightforwardly said that he has already changed his ways. His confession was speculated to be the triggering factor why Angelina Jolie has softened up and agreed to put their divorce on hold.

Divorce not called off

Although it would be nice to imagine that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in the process of reconciliation and getting back together, Hollywood Life reports that the divorce is not actually called off. Instead, it would pretty much make more sense to believe that they are just taking things slow.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt know that separating and getting a divorce is a very major decision to make, and with their six kids in the picture, it's not only a decision that they will be making for themselves. Currently, the divorce of Jolie and Pitt is still up in the air, but the fans are hoping that the latter's changed ways will open the door for permanent reconciliation.
