Adult Swim dropped a new trailer of Rick and Mortyseason 3 on Sunday and it is pretty hilarious. Fans can see the animated series’ protagonists transporting from one place to another, either in real life or in a painting.

The clip runs for almost four minutes and titled “Rick and Morty Exquisite Corpse,” revealing their epic journey. They have been transformed into clays, zombies, old men, real persons, different creatures, and much more.

A superb artistic teaser

Adult Swim gives a big hint of what “Rick and Morty” Season 3 could look like with its newly revealed trailer.

It might look quite peculiar, but it is being true to the animated series’ original theme and humor. If the almost four-minute video can leave the show’s fans in awe, what more will the 13 episodes do? Everything started when Morty dropped the vial, which his grandfather, Rick, told him to carefully put in the cabinet.

From there, everything has changed. It shows an array of different kinds of artistic quality scenes that can be rated from absurd to morbid. Fans can also see the two in different forms, characters, and places that clearly show they can be everything and anything. In fact, Rick can even be seen pulling Morty out of someone’s butt. These and more can be seen in the return of the animated series.

The animated series’ return

Meanwhile, Adult Swim confirmed the continuation of “Rick and Morty” Season 3 on July 30 in spite of cancellation news.

The TV Network had revealed the premiere episode of the animated series’ third season on April 1. Then, it quickly went on a hiatus again. It was nearly two years since the show’s second season was aired on the streaming service, thus fans were surely longing to see what the new episodes have to offer.

In the first trailer Adult Swim revealed on June 29, fans will be treated with the same wit, humor, and weird boisterous fun of the duo. Viewers, too, can expect to see more happenings from the Galactic Federation, which could look like a parody of the movie “Mad Max: Fury Road.” Pickle Rick will also be introduced in the new coming episodes.

The animated series’ official trailer was revealed by its co-creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland on a live stream. Aside from the clip, the two also hinted the coming of the fourth season. In fact, they have teased that it is now in the making. So, fans are hoping to see the new installment in 2019 while “Rick and Morty” Season 3 will be aired on July 30 on Adult Swim.
