What's the hold up on 'Rick and Morty'?
There have been rumors that Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland just can't seem to see eye to eye regarding the direction that "Rick and Morty" is taking. That is why many fans think that Season 3 has seen such a huge delay and it could also explain why the premiere episode was made available online with no other new episodes being released since.
We already know that Season 3, episode 2 of "Rick and Morty" will be titled "Rickmancing The Stone" It also looks like that episode may already be ready. It's not clear just how much more of the season is ready to go or if the creators are facing more difficulties.

So far, we've been able to gather from the premiere episode "The Rickshank Redemption," Rick is going to anger Morty after he manages to cause Morty's parents to divorce. Due to that, Morty won't be as willing to participate in Rick's interstellar adventures.
There also have been some leaks regarding which characters might return for Season 3 of "Rick and Morty." One of the most popular characters from the Adult Swim series is Evil Morty and it looks like he will be making his return as long as the show is not canceled.
In addition to Evil Morty, revealed that several new characters would be making their debut including Pickle Rick. Fans have been waiting to see what he is all about ever since a sketch spoiled Pickle Rick's debut at last year's San Diego Comic Con.
So is "Rick and Morty" really facing cancellation due to the creators not getting along? Or is this all just a ploy to get fans even more anxious about the return of the Adult Swim series? Either way, fans are waiting for their fix of this animated favorite so hopefully, we'll find out more soon.
