"Once Upon a Time" season 7 may see a major change in cast, but that doesn't mean the characters will see major changes. Fans worried about the fate of Hook and his relationship with Emma will find out the truth in the second episode of the season. They will learn why they get separated and more. For those worried about Hook moving on, the show-runners have confirmed that there are no plans for a new love interest for #CaptainSwan.

Emma is Hook's soulmate

It's understandable why fans worry. Oncers have watched Hook and Emma for the last few years draw together and push each other away.

Well, they've watched Emma attempt to push Hook away, only to realize that she needs him in her life. Prince Charming has attempted to stop Hook from being with his daughter, only to give in and give Hook permission to marry Emma in season 6.

Hook moving on isn't something fans will want to see. At least, they won't want to see it at first. It would seem like wasted years rooting for the initially unlikely couple. Adam Horowitz and Edward Katsis, the show-runners of "Once Upon a Time," have admitted that they wouldn't want fans to feel like that.

Hook won't be the same character in 'OUaT' season 7

However, fans may be disappointed to find out that Hook won't remain single forever.

There are no plans yet, but fans have to remember that Colin O'Donoghue and others remaining with the show from previous years are going to be different characters. Just how different his character will be is uncertain. It appears from comments about drifting back into his "old Hook ways" that O'Donoghue will still play the character we've come to know and love.

It's difficult to get information straight. There is a lot of misleading information right now, as Horowitz and Katsis are staying extremely quiet. It's too soon to give all the "Once Upon a Time" season 7 information away, as the show won't return until October.

Fans will get to find out what drives Hook and Emma apart. The second episode will tell the full story, and will also touch on whether they have children or not.

There are many theories, but fans hope that only death or a curse has affected their relationship and not that they've broken up. After all, they're supposed to be soulmates.

"Once Upon a Time" season 7 will return on Friday, October 6 at 8/7c on ABC. Fans will see some characters return with a new curse, and a new set of fairy tale characters to explore and get to know.
