Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder amazed the fans by their onscreen chemistry in The CW’s "The Vampire Diaries". The former co-stars officially dated for sometime before mutually deciding to end their relationship. After parting their ways, the actor got involved and later married to Nikki Reed but Nina chose to stay single and dedicated her time to serious projects.
Earlier this month, photos of Nina surfaced online showing her with Glen Powell and it reportedly confirmed that after Somerhalder, the "xXx: Return of the Xander Cage" actress has found a new love in her life.
Nina and Paul Wesley’s romance
As reported by Inquisitr, there were speculations that Nina was earlier reportedly involved with her another co-star from "TVD" for a while. The news website further claimed that the actress reportedly got a little too close with Paul Wesley after working with him for several years before leaving the vampire TV series after Season 6.
The fans of the actress should know this for a fact that when she was earlier romantically involved with Ian, Paul Wesley was officially dating Phoebe Tonkin. The report from Inquisitr further claimed that many assumed that due to Paul’s onscreen chemistry with Nina, Phoebe decided to end her long relationship.
During Nina’s earlier interview with Teen Vogue, the "The American Mall" actress subtly stated that if it was not for Ian, she probably dated Paul.
That being said, the duo never got into any romantic relationship and chose to stay friends.
Nina’s new love interest
Entertainment Tonight recently reported that Nina has officially confirmed her relationship with actor Glen Powell. There have been speculations from quite some time but the actress chose to officially confirm the news after Ian announced that he is soon going to become a father.
Nina and Glen officially made their affair public after they both were spotted at Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich’s wedding.
Nina, Ian, and Paul to appear in "The Originals"
Apart from their personal lives, there have been speculations from different media outlets that the original star cast of "The Vampire Diaries" will make an appearance in its spin-off "The Originals." Celebeat earlier reported that the "Too Young to Marry" actress will reprise her role of Elijah’s beloved Tatia in the fifth season of "The Originals."
However, during her earlier interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Nina officially stated that she is done portraying the same character over and over again, and would focus on more challenging roles.
That being said, fans are still hoping to see Nina Dobrev sharing space with Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley in "The Originals."
