lena dunham has officially confirmed that she is joining "American Horror Story" for the upcoming Season 7. To confirm this, the news was also officially announced by Ryan Murphy on Twitter last Wednesday. Further, a report from Entertainment Tonight has shared that the series creator is very thrilled in working with his friend, Dunham.

Shortly after the announcement posted by Murphy, a fan responded on Twitter and she wrote, "What is happening here?" In response, Sarah Paulson replied with another tweet that says, "Magic and dream of all dreams."

Dunham shares clues

Prior to this official announcement, it can be recalled that Dunham already teased her fans with some clues that she will be part of the next season of the popular series for the Season 7.

Entertainment Tonight reported that Dunham once shared a photo of a person who was fully covered with bees and in the caption, she stated that it will be the last clue she'll give before the final reveal.

Apparently, a lot of her followers started to wonder about the teaser. Nevertheless, the speculations have been finally confirmed that she is now officially part of the upcoming TV series. Apart from Dunham, there are also other personalities who have already signed on to be part of Season 7. Some of the other official names are Billie Lourd, Evan Peters, Billy Eichner, and Colton Haynes.

Comic Conference

In the meantime, the series production has kept the details of the upcoming season under wraps.

However, it is believed that some details, like the series title and subject matter, will be revealed this week during their upcoming Comic-Con appearance on Thursday. Meanwhile, other details such as character names were not released yet.

Not that the news that Dunham is joining the growing list of cast members for the series upcoming season, it is rumored that the next season of "American Horror Story" plans to deal with the 2016 Presidential election.

Furthermore, the series producers also shared some clues online.

Meanwhile, it was also reported that Murphy revealed that Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump will be partly seen in this series' new season. There are currently no actors set to play the President and former First Lady but they will likely just be shown with footage from actual events during the election.
