David Faustino will reprise his role as photographer Howard Green on "The Young and the Restless" on July 13 and 14. Green was last in Genoa City in April and he was on hand to shoot footage when Hillary Curtis joined the "Brash and Sassy" crew for a commercial in Hollywood. Faustino is best know for his role as Bud Bundy on the sitcom "Married With Children". Faustino also produced an Internet show entitled "Star-ving".

No spoiler alerts for David Faustino

Spoilers alerts have not given any details regarding Faustino's return. They do, however, indicate for July 11 that Victor Newman is going to visit Hillary Curtis about a big story she should be covering.

This will more than likely be Nikki's piano recital to raise money and awareness for MS. If Hillary covers the benefit concert Howard Green will most likely be her photographer of choice

The last time he was on "The Young and the Restless" Green shadowed Hillary and got great shots of the models. His role was not a large one. "Married with children" fans may want to see more of Howard because the character was funny and played off of Hillary's diva complex pretty well. The only way he would be needed more would be if there were more going on at "GC Buzz". Right now, both Hillary and Mariah are being shown in other settings and Jordan is the official photographer for "Brash and Sassy."

A bigger role for David Faustino

If the powers of "The Young and the Restless" really wanted to keep David Faustino on the show, there are ways to make it happen.

In addition to shooting footage for "GC Buzz," he could become romantically linked with one of the more established characters on the show. Mariah might be a good choice because she and Devon do not have any chemistry and he is still hung up on Hillary. Should Devon and his ex-wife reunite, Mariah could cry on Howard's shoulder and later a romance could develop.

Howard might also befriend other characters who hang out at the coffee house or "The Underground." Once he establishes connections outside of the world of photography Mr. Green would automatically have a bigger role on "Y&R." He definitely needs more to do than being the flunky for Hilary Curtis. Perhaps this third time will be the charm and Faustino working with the Genoa City crowd will give the writers some ideas. Maybe they will appreciate his contribution and decide to keep him on the show for the long haul.
