Former "Dance Moms" sweetheart Maddie Ziegler seems to have her hands full recently, as she is reportedly working on a secret project with Kate Hudson and her mentor Sia. Earlier this week, rumors of the trio collaborating on a project emerged online after they were spotted hanging out together. According to reports, Maddie, Kate and Sia were seen entering the same set in downtown Los Angeles.

Kate Hudson returns to her dance roots

Adding to speculations of an upcoming project was Hudson's Instagram post on Thursday. In the snap, the former "Glee" star posed alongside the "Dance Moms" star and captioned it with, "Dance rehearsal with this bundle of excellence!"

Previously, the 38-year-old actress also teased her fans that she is working on something related to dancing.

Kate added that she's taking dance lessons these past few weeks with the help of her friend.

In one of her posts, Hudson revealed that she has been dancing since she was 11 years old, adding that she's pleased to return to her roots.

Meanwhile, Ziegler also hinted on a new project that she is currently working on. In an interview with Access Hollywood, the Dance Moms favorite teased that she is "currently filming a movie." However, Maddie has not revealed any further details about her upcoming film. It also remains unclear whether the said movie will also star Sia and Kate.

Recently, Ziegler showed off her acting skills in the movie, "The Book of Henry." Maddie impressed fans with her portrayal of Christina Sickleman, a child being abused by her stepfather.

Aside from movies, Ziegler also explored the music and fashion industry. She even wrote a best-selling tell-all book titled "The Maddie Diaries: A Memoir." The controversial biography made headlines in the past after Maddie slammed her former "Dance Moms" mentor Abby Lee Miller.

Sia ditches her iconic wig

During the trio's day out in Los Angeles, many were quick to notice that Sia ditched her wig and makeup.

The "Chandelier" songstress, who is known for covering her entire face with her iconic wig, bared her face in public, as she took a break from filming.

Sia is also set to team up with Maddie for her upcoming tour, where she will perform in several cities in Australia and New Zealand. It's no secret that Sia and Maddie established a strong bond after working together for "Chandelier."

It can be recalled that the singer personally picked the "Dance Moms" star to be her younger version in the music video. From then on, the duo became inseparable and treated each other like family.
