The Adult Swim series "Rick and Morty" loves bizarre plot twists. After Rick gave himself to the Galactic Federation and was incarcerated in the maximum-security prison, the second season of "Rick and Morty" ended on a cliffhanger.
After the surprise April Fool's Day premiere of "Rick and Morty" Season 1, fans are waiting impatiently for the next episodes. Details about the rest of the episodes are very scarce.
Release date confirmed
It was recently confirmed that the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will have 10 episodes in total. The second episode entitled "Rickmancing the Stone" will air on July 30 at exactly 11:30 PM EST on Adult Swing.
Jerry's revenge
Jerry is depicted as a chubby, spineless, and submissive person who bends down to everyone. His interaction with his children, his damaged wife, as well as his father-in-law who makes fun of him every time is the highlight of the episodes.
He is one of the best and yet underappreciated characters in "Rick and Morty." In season 3, Jerry is rumored to take his revenge against his father-in-law. After losing his family (his wife and children), Jerry will work for the Galactic Federation.
The return of Evil Morty
The return of Evil Morty is highly anticipated by most fans. Although his return is yet to be confirmed, everybody knows that Evil Morty is just hiding somewhere and is planning a grand scheme against the world.
Evil Morty is rumored to form an alliance with Jerry, the Galactic Federation, and Phoenix Person to eliminate Rick.
Rick the Pickle
During the San Diego Comic-Con last 2016, the "Rick and Morty" panel showed an unfinished animation of Rick as the "World's Most Badass Pickle." For some unidentified reasons, the mad scientist decided to enter the sewers and transformed into a pickle.
Even if the skit was short, it was hilarious. It is going to be great to see the finished version of Rick the Pickle in the next episodes of "Rick and Morty" Season 3.
A grown-up Summer
Summer is one of the show's most naive characters. However, in the alternate universe of the comic book series, Summer protected Morty C-137 and sheltered him from Rick and the Smith family.
Summer also became a darker character in the series. There was an episode where she was just standing over and washing away a mutant brutally, and this just showed how dark she has become. It will be fascinating to see Summer as she becomes more like Rick in "Rick and Morty" Season 3.
