The “The Young and The Restless” spoilers for Thursday, June 22 reveals what’s next for Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) in their on and off relationship. The couple has been through a lot and this current blow in their rigged relationship could mark the end of it, but will it all be worth it in the end?
It seems that Cane’s lies have turned against him. The next "Y&R" episode will show how Lily turns berserk after learning that her lying husband slept with Juliet. She will confront him in the face and would demand the truth. Not only that she holds Juliet’s statement into account of his cheating, she’s also got a video to prove it, Soapshows reported.
Juliet and her rise to power
However, it seems that all these are part of Juliet’s (Laur Allen) schemes to take down Brash & Sassy. Her plan just had swift take off and nobody doubts her confessional. In addition, she and her lawyer Leslie (Angell Conwell) collected sufficient evidence to support their claim.
Whether these pieces of evidence is authentic or fabricated, they are doing pretty well giving Juliet the edge on this game-changing situation.
Would Cane make another lie?
Rumors says no but to save Cane's face in this chaos, Billy (Jason Thompson) will now step in before everything gets worse. “The Young and The Restless” spoilers notes that he will come to Victoria and persuade her to file for a settlement.
Billy believes Leslie has been saving another card in her hands.
However, Victoria might not want to volunteer herself after being left out when Cane chose to be in the company of Juliet in that fateful hotel room incident caught on video. Additionally, Juliet and Leslie are more likely to decline the settlement at this point.
“The Young and The Restless” fans weigh in
Lily’s reaction towards Cane’s deception doesn’t sit well with the fans. In a thread posted at “Young and Restless Fans” Facebook page, many believe that she should behave herself since she’s the first one to get into another person’s bed during their marriage.
The writers may have forgotten about her scandalous affair with Joe Clark (Scott Elrod) but her husband chose to forgive her.
Although most of them are not into digging in Lily’s past, they have been quite accepting on Cane being cornered by his own deception after what he did to Billy.
Moreover, will Lily forgive Cane just like what he did for her in the past? Catch "The Young and The Restless" weekdays on CBS.
