"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 4 isn't expected to air until much later this year, but rumors about what's bound to happen in the much-awaited hit drama series’ third season have never ceased to attract everyone's attention.
The show's second season ended with an even bigger chaos than it originally started with, and "How to Get Way With Murder" Season 4 is expected to focus on matters outside of Annalise's world — more specifically on Lauren’s family who seemed to have caused all the chaos in the show's previous season.
Why Did Laurel’s Dad Kill Wes?
The season finale for "HTGAWM" Season 3 left more questions than it gave answers — and perhaps the most pressing of these questions is why Laurel’s father had Wes killed in the first place.
It's no secret that Laurel’s father is fond of meddling into his daughter's romantic affairs, but the motive behind the killing of Wes — who was a law student who seemed to have a real shot at a great future ahead of him — was unexpected, to say the least.
Laurel’s previous relationship with Frank, who is in fact far worse than Wes considering his unspeakable crimes in the past, merely caught the attention of Laurel’s father — but never seemed to have merited drastic actions that would somehow lead to serious bodily harm.
Questions That Need Answers
"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 4 will no doubt give answers to much of the questions that the show's previous season has left hanging, but it is also expected to raise new ones that are likely to stem from the same answers that the show will be giving during the first few episodes of its forthcoming season.
The plots of the show's first, second, and third seasons were hinged on crimes that Annalise has either accidentally or intentionally committed, and "How to Get Away With Murder" Season 4 is not expected to deviate from the same pattern of both excitement and madness combined together.
This is despite multiple news in the past that have claimed that actress Viola Davis's character will not be the main focus of the show's much-awaited upcoming season.
Rumors have previously claimed that "HTGAWM" Season 4 will showcase more of the heavy drama surrounding Laurel's painful ordeal regarding Wes's death as well as her pregnancy, and that it is precisely due to this that the show's main character, Annalise, is expected to temporarily take the backseat --- during the first few episodes of the show, at least.
