"Teen Mom OG" star Ryan Edwards is allegedly struggling with a drug problem, and his fiance, MacKenzie Standifer and her family are reportedly taking matters into their own hands. MacKenzie, who recently spoke out about Ryan's alleged drug issues, has the full support of her family. In fact, her father, Bob Standifer, recently spoke to Radar Online about Ryan's issues, and revealed that his family would be holding an intervention for his soon-to-be son-in-law.

According to the report, Bob Standifer says that the family is going to "get together and talk it," but that his daughter and her fiance are adults and the family wouldn't dream of talking about them without them there.

"Anything we talk about, we're all going to sit down together," he confirmed to the website, adding that he believes that the "Teen Mom OG" dad is a "great guy."

MacKenzie's dad speaks out about Ryan's allegedly drug issues

Recently, fans watched as Ryan Edwards' ex-girlfriend, Maci Bookout, told her "Teen Mom OG" co-stars, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell that she is afraid for Ryan's life. Bookout, who shares a son, Bentley, with Edwards, shed tears as she told her friends that she was terrified that Ryan was going to do something he wouldn't be able to come back from. In addition, Maci said that she believed Ryan would go to a rehab center to get treatment, but that the people around him like his family members, are in denial about Ryan's problems, and won't confront him about the issues.

"Right now it's about saving his life," Bookout said as she later told her husband Taylor McKinney that she planned to talk to her ex about entering rehab.

This isn't the first time that drug rumors have swirled around Ryan Edwards. The "Teen Mom OG" star also denied rumors of a drug problem last year after he was seen on the MTV reality series looking high and slurring his words.

When a photographer asked Ryan about the rumors he denied them, as Jaala, an MTV producer, said that sometimes Edwards is "just tired" while he's filming.

Will Ryan appear on the reunion special next month?

Ryan nor any of his family members have spoken publicly about Maci Bookout's comments, or Mackenzie Standifer's family intervention.

Ryan's parents, Jen and Larry Edwards have stayed mum on the topic, but since the "Teen Mom OG" reunion show films early next month, it seems that Dr. Drew Pinsky will likely bring up the topic with one or more member of Ryan's family. It should be interesting to see if Ryan will attend the reunion, and what he'll have to say for himself if he does go.
