Steve Gold is the newest real estate agent on “Million Dollar Listing New York” and fans got a chance to meet him on last night’s premiere. He replaces Luis D. Ortiz, who decided to leave the show behind to seek out another passion of his. He realized that real estate was not what he wanted to do, so he quit. Bravo started searching for a new real estate agent to join the show and eventually chose Steve Gold, who is a friend of Fredrik Eklund.

Steve Gold is an interesting character on “Million Dollar Listing New York.” He's completely opposite of what fans have seen with Fredrik Eklund and Ryan Serhant.

During yesterday's premier episode, he revealed that he never wears a suit and a tie. He said he will wear collared shirts, blue jeans and blazer jackets when he's meeting with clients. This is a refreshing new way of doing business and he complements the two other guys quite nicely.

New listing agent offers fresh new look to 'Million Dollar Listing New York'

On his social media page, Gold revealed what it had been like for the past nine months as they had been filming the new season. He revealed that been a humbling experience and that he really enjoyed introducing viewers to his world. They're just getting to see it now, but it sounds like he has created some great friendships with Ryan Serhant and Fredrik Eklund.

"These past 9 months has been an exciting, emotional, eye-opening and also humbling experience as I filmed my first season," Steve Gold wrote in an Instagram post, adding about his co-stars, "you are both superstars."

On “Million Dollar Listing New York”, the stars usually don't interact too much while filming the show. Throughout entire season, they may be together once or twice as they work on the same transaction.

But it sounds like the guys are really becoming great friends and they all go on a cast trip later this year.

New agent can't replace Luis D. Ortiz

It will be interesting to see how Steve Gold will fit in with the other two guys when they're all together in one room. Fans will have to wait to see how this plays out on this season of “MDLNY”.

Many have expressed sadness over Luis' decision to leave the show behind last year. He wasn't happy in real estate, but he will be making an appearance this year.

What was your first impression of Steve Gold on last night premiere of “MDLNY”? Do you think he fits in well with the rest of the guys on the show or do you think the show would have been better with Luis?
