Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder have announced they are pregnant and expecting their first baby together. Reed announced the happy celebrity baby news on May 4th on Instagram, posting an adorable photo of her growing baby bump with hubby Ian kissing the newest addition-to-be of their little family.

"Hi Little One," Reed captioned the photo. She also added a beautiful little message revealing that she is already totally in love with their little bundle, adding that they have been sharing the same body for "some time," and have already gone through a lot together.
The happy couple have been together since 2014 and were married in April of 2015. Wetpaint reports that Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder decided to wait until they were pretty far along with the pregnancy to share their happy news because they wanted to enjoy the privacy for a while.

It dos not come as a surprise to the couple's fans that they kept this news quiet for a while, as they are well known for being an extremely private couple, sharing only what they want, when they want, publicly. Ian, 38, also shared the couple's happy news on Instagram. Sharing the baby bump pic on social media, the "Vampire Diaries" star added a message describing the pregnancy as a beautiful and powerful experience, revealing that he cannot wait for this "exciting next chapter."
At this time, news of the due date/sex have not been shared with the couple's fans, who are now anxiously awaiting any and all baby news.
The only things we know for sure is that they are expecting a baby in the next few months.
Reed and Somerhalder join a long list of celebrities expecting in 2017, including George and Amal Clooney, and Beyonce and Jay-Z, who are both expecting the arrival of twins. Also expecting this year are Princess Sofia, Lauren Conrad, Serena Williams, Zooey Deschanel, Heidi Montag, and Lauren Prepon.
