Alright, "Empire" fans. We've definitely got a major revenge plot in the works with Cookie as the spear header in this upcoming episode 17 of season 3. Apparently, she's going to try to get her hands on a secret weapon at some point, so that certainly sounds quite interesting. In the meantime, we'll also be seeing some action go down with Jamal's situation when he gets told to put his album on the back burner. Again, this week, we got these delicious spoiler teasers from FOX's official press release.
"Toil and Trouble, Part 1"
They also let us know that they decided to title this one: "Toil and Trouble, Part 1." That's right.
This is going to be part 1 of a 2 part finale episode, with the 2nd part airing on May 24th. In this official description, they decided to start things out by telling us, in all capital letters, that Cookie is definitely going to be taking on Vegas in this big part one episode. So, it sounds like we'll be seeing a lot of focus get put on that particular storyline.
Banned from Leviticus Vegas
They went on to tell us more about it, letting us know that we're going to see Cookie get banned from Leviticus Vegas at some point, and that this will set up her big revenge plot. She's going to get it all prepped by gathering up a huge team that will consist of her own allies, so that she can effectively go and enact some heavy revenge on Giuliana.
Apparently, her way of doing this, will be to steal a secret weapon that Giuliana supposedly owns. Is Cookie's plan for revenge, going to be a success? Or will it totally backfire in her face? Those are the huge questions for this plotline. Hopefully, we'll get them all answered in this episode. However, something tells me it might get drug out to the finale.
We'll see.
Put it on hold
Elsewhere, we'll be seeing another situation going down, concerning the release of Jamal's new album. He's going to be encouraged by someone to put it on hold, so it doesn't compete with Lucious' new "Inferno" album that's about to drop. Will Jamal honor this request? Or will he just go ahead and release it anyways, so he can battle with Lucious?
Who in the hell made this request in the first, damn place? Those are the burning questions that we have for this particular storyline. Perhaps, we'll get a new glimpse at them in new preview clip that we're expecting from FOX after episode 16 gets done airing, so be sure to check for that.
Alright, that's all the written, spoiler material that we received from FOX for this episode. However, they did give us a couple of official photos for it. We've included this one (above). It gives us a new look at Cookie, looking as pimp as she wants to be, strutting into, what appears to be, a very lively club scene with her sisters in tow, played by Vivica A. Fox and Tasha Smith.

Some of the other photos, show Charlotte Frost back in action, talking with Jamal at one point. Lucious, of course, is spotted in a few scenes, along with Thirsty and Becky. Episode 17 is confirmed to hit the airwaves next Wednesday night, May 17th,2017 at 8pm central time on FOX. Stay tuned.
