Camila Cabello didn't know what to say to her friend Ariana Grande after the tragic Manchester bombing after her concert for her Dangerous Woman tour.
Ariana was super shaken up
The former member of Fifth Harmony was seen on Britain's "This Morning" on Wednesday. The singer shared that she had a difficult conversation with Grande after the horrific attack that killed 22 people and injured more than 50 others.
Cabello said she couldn't even imagine what Ariana was going through, adding that she was "so shaken up."
"I mean, what can you say?"
On Tuesday, Ariana Grande announced that she would be hosting a tribute concert for the victims of the Manchester bombing and all of the families affected by the terror attack.
Camila praised her friend for her bravery and strength
"We were just talking in the car about the concert. I'm super proud of her, coming back to Manchester," the singer said. "Ariana is one person who has always been so supportive of me."
The benefit concert will be called "One Love Manchester" and will take place at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground on June 4.
An amazing lineup of artists have volunteered to perform
Some other big names like Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Niall Horan, Usher, and Pharrell Willaims have all volunteered to perform at the Benefit Concert.
The Black Eyed Peas recently announced on Twitter that they would be joining Grande at the benefit event.
Tickets for the Manchester benefit concert are going to be on sale as of Thursday, June 1, at 10 a.m. B.S.T. Although, fans who attended Ariana Grande's Manchester concert on May 22 will be able to register for free tickets.
The One Love Manchester concert is also going to be broadcast on BBC Television, BBC Radio, and Capital Radio Networks. It will also be able to be streamed worldwide with a digital partner that will be announced soon, according to E!
News.
All of the proceeds from the benefit concert are going to go towards the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund set up by the Manchester City Council and the British Red Cross. It will support all of the people who have been injured or bereaved by the Manchester attack last week.
The "Dangerous Woman" singer came up with the idea for the benefit concert on her own and was so happy to have the support of so many fellow artists.
“The idea to host this event came from Ariana," Melvin Benn, of promoter Festival Republic, told Billboard.
Benn confirmed what Cabello said on This Morning, saying that Ariana was "very traumatized after the attack" but that it was "very important to her to support the victims."
Grande also wanted to "show a level of defiance that stands up to this bloodlust and ambivalence toward innocent individuals and tells the terrorists that they are not going to stop us."
