After last night at WrestleMania 33, John Cena and Nikki Bella are now engaged. After their big engagement, they stopped at the “Today” show to talk about their relationship and the big proposal. John told Al Roker that he had been planning to do this for a long time. The fans had been wondering if it would ever happen. John teased he was waiting on her to make the move.

John explains how he wanted Nikki to ask him first

John Cena talked about how he has been through several surgeries over the years, and Nikki Bella has always been by his side. He teased saying, “when they put you under anesthesia, you got, like, 20 minutes where you're out of it but you can talk, and you don't remember what's going on.

So, I always ask her. I'm like, 'You know they're going to put me under. Ask me whatever you want, and you're going to get the answer.'"

Before Nikki Bella went back for surgery over a year and a half ago, John Cena said that he told her one day he was going to marry her. It just took Cena a while to actually propose to her, but now fans can’t wait for their big wedding. Nikki was actually shocked by his proposal because she didn’t think it would happen in front of that many people, but she did say that the people who were there are their family, so it makes sense in that way.

It does seem like John Cena, and Nikki Bella are the perfect match for each other. After being together for five years, the couple is finally going to get married.

Since they just got engaged, nobody really knows when this wedding will happen or how it will end up going down for them. The fans can't wait to see them on their big day, though. Hopefully, "Total Divas" will end up filming the show and the fans will get to see it all happen. With a reality show like this, everyone is expecting cameras to be there.
