Brad Pitt was spotted out earlier this week in Los Angeles looking unrecognizable to some due to extreme weight-loss, according to Radar Online. The celebrity news site reports that one spectator described the "Fight Club" actor as looking 'sick.' "To be honest, I wasn't even sure it was him," adding that they were very shocked by his appearance.

The same RO informant also described Brad Pitt as "appearing sad and down on his luck." If Brad looked noticeably upset it really comes as no huge surprise.
It has been a very hard year for Pitt, whose former wife Angelina Jolie filed for divorce last September, stating that he had become physical with one of their six children.

Since his appearance at the Golden Globes in January, Brad has pretty much tried to lay low throughout the nasty divorce and custody battle. Angelina filed for divorce and for full custody of all six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, Vivienne and Knox, 8. The couple finally settled on agreeable terms and have each started moving on with their separate lives.
As previously reported, since Brad and Angie's split, Brad has been allegedly linked to actress Kate Hudson, former ex-Jennifer Aniston, whom he recently began speaking with after being estranged for several years, and most recently rumors emerged that he had begun dating actress Sandra Bullock.
The speculation of a Pitt/Bullock relationship captured fans' attention when it was suggested that pal George Clooney set the two up.
The said Pitt/Bullock relationship has since been shot down by the stars' reps.
As for Brad's recent weight-loss, a couple of things could be going on. The stress of the past several months could have taken a toll on him, or he could be getting ready for a new film. Until further details are released, fans will just have to wait and see if things soon begin to turn around for Brad Pitt in both his personal and professional life.
