Joy-Anna Duggar has started a new courtship, and it turns out that she has also started a new job. It looks like she is possibly looking at a career in politics. The Hollywood Gossip shared the details about the new job that Joy-Anna picked up. Several of the Duggar girls don't work, but Joy-Anna is doing things her own way.

What is Joy-Anna Duggar doing now?

It turns out that Joy-Anna now has an internship at the Arkansas State Capitol. Her 18-year-old brother Jedidiah is also working there as well. Jim Bob Duggar served two terms as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives following the 1997 election.

Everyone knows that her brother Josh Duggar has been involved in politics as well. It is not surprising at all that Joy would decide that politics was what she wanted to do as well.

The one thing that is pretty shocking is that a woman in the Duggar family is working. Jill hs done some work, but the other women normally don't. It will be interesting to see if Joy makes the choice to actually work outside of the home when she is married or has kids of her own at home.

There is some speculation that Jim Bob wants the kids involved in politics to help with the family's reputation. They have been through some pretty big scandals recently, and something positive in the press about the Duggar family is always a good thing.

Right now, Joy-Anna is in the press because of her courtship with Austin Forsyth. The viewers would love to get to know him better and see him on the show, but so far they haven't shown Austin on the series yet. It would be great if you could get to see him and get to know him better. They have teased that it would happen this season, but he hasn't shown up yet and it is almost over with already.
