Amber Portwood announced she had called off her October 2016 to Matthew Baier last year, but did she recently have a change of heart? Days ago, after the "Teen Mom OG" star confirmed her plans to get married sometime in 2017, Baier posted a shocking Instagram message which revealed that he was headed to the chapel for a wedding in Las Vegas. Right away, rumors began swirling in regard to the possible wedding of the reality couple.
After telling fans that he was "going to the chapel and we're going to get married," Baier spoke to Radar Online and set the record straight -- suggesting he and Portwood were never actually planning to get married.
“I’m getting married tomorrow? All we said was we were going to [Las Vegas] for a wedding," he explained, failing to acknowledge his suspicious Instagram post.

Throughout their weekend in Sin City, Portwood and Baier shared a number of photos of themselves. Along with one photo, Portwood wrote, "Hi loves from [Las Vegas] again!! No, we didn't get married. However, we went to a wedding always sending love." In other post, it was revealed that the "Teen Mom OG" stars were attending the wedding of a couple of their friends, Wayne and Annette.

After a probation violation in 2012, Portwood began serving a 5-year prison term but was ultimately released after just 17 months behind bars.
In the months that followed, the reality star began dating Baier and a short time later, they became engaged.
Throughout their time together on "Teen Mom OG," Amber Portwood and Baier have faced criticism from viewers and their co-stars due to Baier's questionable past, which includes a number of children by different mothers. During one particular scene, Portwood's ex-boyfriend, Gary Shirley, presented her with paperwork which reportedly proved that Baier had fathered more children than he had previously admitted to.
