Hey, "Agents Of SHIELD" fans. Yep, unfortunately it's quite true. We're about to be without a new episode for about a month and half, because the show is apparently, taking a long break or something. This means the new, official spoilers for episode 15 of season 5 won't be showing up, tonight. ABC usually holds out on dropping any new press releases when we encounter long breaks like this. Speaking of the hiatus duration, we won't see the new episode until Tuesday night, April 4th, 2017 at 9pm central time, so be sure to jot that date down on your TV calendars, so you don't end up missing it.
A month and a half is a pretty long wait.
Big Donald Trump speech next week
So, what does ABC have in store for the vacant time slot? Well, we can tell you that next week, they're going to be airing a big Donald Trump special news report, because he's going to be delivering his "Address to Congress" speech. Almost every major network will be covering it, so it won't just be ABC viewers that will have to suffer from this. It's going to take a full hour an a half chunk out of their primetime schedule. Beyond that, we don't know at this time, because our TV schedule listings don't extend beyond the immediate 13 days. We should have more intel , next week, though.
"What If" is what they're naming it
Now unfortunately, we tried and tried, and tried to find some unofficial spoiler intel for the upcoming episode 16. We even searched for the casting calls, and nothing turned up. The only thing we were able to find, was a title for this thing, thanks to the folks that run the show's official wikia page.
They tell us that the producers decided to name it: "What If...," so that's a very interesting title, I guess. Also, we do know that ABC gave this season a 23 episode order, so when it returns in April, you can bet that there will be no more breaks. just a straight shot all the way until the season finale in May.
What you guys might want to do if you want some immediate spoilers, is be sure to look out for the new promo/spoiler clip.
It's highly possible that ABC will release one after episode 14 airs tonight, because they're usually pretty good about that sort of thing. It should definitely reveal some good details. ABC could also release the official press release synopsis at anytime. It's totally up to them. However, based on past experience, it'll probably be a couple of weeks before they do. Stay tuned.
