The "Dancing with the Stars" 2017 cast is slated to be revealed during tomorrow morning's episode of "Good Morning America," but there may well be no surprises in store for spoiler-savvy fans. With the alleged addition of former MLB star David Ross to the mix, a grand total of 12 celebrity wanna-be Mirrorball Trophy champions have already been identified.

Sports-heavy season of 'DWTS'?

Pardon My Take reported on Ross' alleged participation on Feb. 28. If the rumor is on the up and up, the 39-year old former professional baseball catcher would be the first MLB star to compete on "Dancing With The Stars." Lending credence to the theory is the fact that Ross' agent recently began following the official "DWTS" Twitter page.

Per other spoilers spilled by a variety of other outlets, Ross is far from the only athlete planning to join the "Dancing with the Stars" 2017 cast. The others include Olympic quadruple gold medalist Simone Biles; two-time Olympic figure skating medalist Nancy Kerrigan; NFL running back Rashad Jennings; and former professional bull rider Bonner Bolton.

Unlike Ross, none of the four are the first representatives of their respective sports to go for the Mirrorball Trophy.

TV icon, 'Glee' alum also bound for the ballroom

The rest of the alleged "Dancing with the Stars" season 24 lineup features an array of celebs from the wide world of television and movies. Included in the mix are reality stars Nick Viall, who is the current star of "The Bachelor," and "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" notable Erika Jayne; television icons Mr. T and Charo; "Saturday Night Live" alum Chris Kattan; Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei; and "Glee" alum Heather Morris.

Although several of the supposed hopefuls have previous dance experience, Morris is perhaps the most surprising pick of all.

The 30-year old actress is a pro dancer in her own right, as she once appeared on a season of "So You Think You Can Dance" and served as a backup dance for Beyonce.
