It's no secret that the majority of the women in the United States are not fans of Donald Trump. During a recent interview, the president announced that he was not a "Feminist."
Trump not a feminist
Since the start of Donald Trump's campaign for president back in the summer of 2015, it's been clear that a lot of groups are just not behind the agenda of the billionaire real estate mogul. One group that has stood out has been women, most notably over Trump's policy proposals and controversial rhetoric that many find degrading and insulting. Adding fuel to the fire has been the allegations of sexual assault and harassment, which became public in October 2016 after the release of the now in famous "Access Hollywood" tape.
Fast forward to present day and the "Me Too" and "Times Up" movement have become headline news following the revelations of decades of sexual abuse at the hands of film producer Harvey Weinstein. As reported by The Hill on January 27, Trump confirmed that he's not a "feminist."
