The cast of characters

The highlight of the African Safari Wildlife Park is the drive through section of the park. As soon as you roll your windows down, the animals will stick their heads in your vehicle to say hello and ask for food.

Once you arrive at the park, you can purchase some of the animals favorite foods, including oats and carrots.

There are nearly twenty different kinds of animals roaming around in the drive through portion of the park. They include Bison, Alpacas, Elk, Scottish Highlander, Fallow Deer, and Gemsbok. Towards the end of the drive through, visitors will see the Zebras and Giraffe.

The walk through section of the African Safari Wildlife Park has another whole set of amazing animals. One of the most rare animals that you will see is the White American Alligator. The lack of color on the White American Alligator is caused by a genetic or congenital condition that interferes with the ability to produce pigments.

Other animals that you will see during the walk through section are a Red Kangaroo, an African Spurred Tortoise, a Red River Hog, Warthogs, a White-Handed Gibbon, a King Vulture, a Western Bongo, and many more.
