Last weekend, Niantic’s newly introduced event known as Community Day took place for players all around the world. According to Niantic, this event aims to encourage players to meet at local parks, and other public places to catch Pokémon together with other team players. Unlike other Pokémon Go Events, Community Day isn’t held at specific locations, rather it is held during a designated window of time.

Recently, Niantic officially announced another special mini event. On Twitter, Pokémon Go revealed that every Egg collected between January 25 and February 1, and hatched during this event will feature Generation 3 Pokémon discovered in the Hoenn region.

Alongside this Tweet was a video of an Egg hatching into one of the starting Pokémon from Ruby and Sapphire called Torchic. This wonderful event lasts until February 1st and will help Trainers to grab Hoenn Pokémon without stumbling across them by chance.

Gen 3 Pokémon available in the egg

Many new Pokémon were released recently by Niantic. For this reason, it is so hard to make a definitive List Of Pokemon that would be contained in the Eggs during the event.

However, here’s a list of Pokemon Trainers should expect to get from the 2K, 5K and 10K Eggs: Aron, Barboach, Gulpin, Barboach, Gulpin, Luvdisc, Poochyena, Spoink, Wailmer, Whimsur, Wurmple, Zigzagoon, Azurill, Carvanha, Corphish, Duskull, Lotad, Makuhita, Mudkip, Nosepass, Numel, Seedot, Shroomish, Shuppet, Skitty, Snorunt, Spheal, Torchic, Treecko, Wynaut, Feebas, Ralts, Slakoth, Trapinch.

This list is not definitive. Therefore, it is possible that other Pokémon may be found in the Eggs.

Trainers are happy to hear that more Pokémon will be available in the most common Egg. Those who are looking forward to grabbing as many Gen 3 Pokémon as they can for this event are advised to hatch all of their old eggs in order to clear out space for more.

Pokémon Go has special Super Incubator on sale

As part of the special event, Pokémon Go has special Super Incubator on sale. This Super Incubator will make hatching a lot more efficient. This means that with the Super Incubator, there will be less walking and more hatching. The reason is that it will decrease the distance needed to hatch an egg to a large extent and help trainers clear out their 10 km eggs very quickly.

For those who haven’t played Pokémon Go in a while, this seems to be a fantastic time to jump back in and join the other “Eggcited” Trainers to enjoy all that has been added to the game in general, throughout the last several updates. Niantic developers are keeping their support coming and based on their report; fans are returning in large number.
