It's been a few busy weeks for Epic Games as they added so many new things to "Fortnite." Both Battle Royale and Save the World modes have been affected by the latest changes, and the game developer added numerous things to the game. The biggest addition, however, is season 2 of the PvP mode. The new season brought many new changes and addition to the game, including over 60 new cosmetic items players can earn.

Yesterday, Epic Games added a new item to "Fortnite" Battle Royale, the so-called Boogie Bomb. The game developer also revealed some details about the upcoming game mode that will be added to the game in a few days. This will be another limited-time game mode, and it will be interesting to see how the community will react to it.

New 'Fortnite' game mode

Last week, Epic Games teased "Fortnite" Battle Royale players with something called "High Explosive." Many players thought that this would have to do something with explosive damage, but they didn't know that it was a new game mode. Fortunately, the game developer revealed a few details about the mode, and players are looking forward to it.

50v50 was the first limited-time game mode in "Fortnite" Battle Royale, and while it had its flaws, players generally liked it. They liked it so much that the game developer decided to bring it back after it expired, allowing players to play it for a few more days. The game mode was added back on December 23, and it will expire on December 28.

Just after the 50v50 mode expires, the new limited-time game mode will be added. This mode will limit weapons players can obtain as regular guns won't be available. Only explosive weapons and regular consumables will be available, which means that the only way to kill someone is by using snowball launchers, rocket launchers, or grenades.

Keep in mind that the game mode won't be available for a long time as it will expire on January 2, 2018.

Other 'Fortnite' changes

"Fortnite" Battle Royale players got a sneak peek of the new shooting mode that is supposed to be added in early 2018. The mode was accidentally released for an hour, and players had a chance to test it. One positive thing about it was the removal of random bullet spread. However, many players did not like the increased recoil.

In addition, the game developer is expected to release some big map changes soon. This includes new objects and the new city POI which will be added near the Loot Lake.
