Game company Capcom has recently revealed that their latest fighting game “Street Fighter V” will be getting an Arcade Edition. It will be available next year, and it will have new features including the much awaited Arcade mode.

Game company Bandai Namco also announced that their next “Tekken” World Finals will be held outside of Japan for the first time. It will be held in the United States, and the top 16 “Tekken 7” players will be gathered there to face off against each other in one the best fighting tournaments.

Arcade Edition announced

The game company has recently revealed that their latest fighting game will have a new version called the Arcade Edition.

This will include two new modes, which are the Arcade and the Extra Battle Modes. The first mode was the most sought mode that all of the fans wanted for this game.

The Arcade Mode will allow players to choose six different paths in it, and each will have their own unique endings. Extra Battle Mode will give great rewards like exclusive outfits their characters. They only need to complete the challenges to get those rewards.

Other new features in new edition

“Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition” will have new V-trigger moves for each character in it. Other features also include a new gallery of images and concept art, all of the characters from Season 1 and 2, and a better menu look. This will be a whole new experience for the fans of the popular fighting game.

Release date, price, and upgrade

Gamers who own the original version will not have to worry about selling their copies because they can get an upgrade to the Arcade Edition for free. If they do not have the Season 1 and 2 characters or missing some of them, they will not get unlocked right away. They can get its new version for $39.99 only on January 16, 2018.

'Tekken' World Finals held outside Japan

In other fighting game related news, the “Tekken” World Finals will be held outside of Japan. This will be the first time in its 20 year history of worldwide tournaments. This time around, it will be held at the City View at Metreon in San Francisco on Nov. 12.

Top 16 players of “Tekken 7” will be participating in that big tournament from around the world.

They will be fighting off each other’s characters and become the champion of this prestigious tournament.

Nissin Cup Noodle will sponsor the event and they will allow a new set of audience to see this great tournament. This event was usually exclusive to Japanese audiences in the past, but now that has changed with the new venue. This will also be streamed exclusively on Twitch.
