Basketball gamers are excited for the upcoming video games that will be available next month. 2K Sports will once again release their annual basketball video game with "NBA 2K18," but this time, it won't be the only NBA video game on the market. This year, EA Sports will release their own title with "NBA Live 18."

While both games have advantages and disadvantages, "NBA 2K18" will most likely be a better game as it seems EA Sports once again did not deliver their best game. The company released a demo a few days ago and many gamers were disappointed by it.

However, "NBA Live 18" will be cheaper than its counterpart, and the lower price will definitely be attractive to customers.

2K Sports is set to release their game in less than a month and the company is slowly revealing players' ratings. Just recently, we were given ratings for Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, two good friends and fierce competitors.

Dwyane Wade's 'NBA 2K18' rating

After averaging 18.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists in his first season with the Chicago Bulls, Dwyane Wade will have 84 rating in "NBA 2K18." While his stats were not impressive and it is clear that Wade is in the twilight of his career, this rating might be low considering that the video game once again changed the rating system.

In comparison, Dwyane Wade had 87 rating in "NBA 2K17" when it was first released. As a matter of fact, he was one of the highest-rated players in the video game and he was the second best player on his team, just behind Jimmy Butler who had 88 rating.

LeBron James' 'NBA 2K18' rating

While it sounds unbelievable, LeBron James is coming off his seventh straight NBA Finals appearance.

Even though the Cleveland Cavaliers once again lost to the Golden State Warriors on the final stage, James was beyond impressive as he averaged triple-double in the series. Thanks to his effort and another fantastic season, the four-time MVP received 97 rating in "NBA 2K18."

LeBron James will most likely be the highest-rated player in the game.

Kevin Durant, who is arguably the second-best player in the NBA, will be rated 96, while Kawhi Leonard will have a slightly worse rating, 95. Even though we still don't know all player ratings in the game, it wouldn't make any sense that someone is rated higher than James.

Being the best player in a video game is nothing new to the Cavaliers superstar as he had the highest rating in "NBA 2K17" as well, with 96.
