The “Assassin’s Creed” series is perhaps one of the biggest franchises in Ubisoft, considering the amount of success it accumulated over the years. Now, the studio is set to introduce it to the mobile platform through “Assassin’s Creed Rebellion,” a free-to-play strategy game for both Android and iOS. Here is everything about it in a nutshell.
According to Bleeding Cool News, “Assassin’s Creed Rebellion” from Ubisoft offers a lucrative roster, which features a total of 40 different assassins. It includes fan favorites such as Aguilar, Claudia, Shao Jun, Ezio and Machiavelli, among others.
The game is currently under Behaviour Interactive’s development.
What the game is all about
Almost all of the assassins in the mobile game are new to the franchise, as they are developed specifically for the game. While some players are not entirely sold to these new characters, the studio is still confident about their release. In its most organic form, the game is all about players managing their own guilds. They must come up with a Brotherhood HQ and map out various rooms for their equipment. The latter are to be used for multiple missions, something that can be likened to Bethesda’s very own mobile game called “Fallout Shelter.”
From the HQ, “Assassin’s Creed Rebellion” players will send their assassin’s to various missions that will be determined based on their certain skill sets.
The mobile game will also have standard missions that offer resources for looting. Players will even be introduced to crafting, though Ubisoft has yet to put this particular feature into detail. Interestingly, unlocking more assassins will be possible as long as the right DNA fragments will be collected. These will be accomplished either through the Story or Legacy missions.
Working on levels and stats
Like most RPG games, “Assassin’s Creed Rebellion” will also offer level and stat progressions. To achieve the right mix, players will have to find the perfect combination of characters apt for each mission. This process will be crucial, as their levels and stats will be determined here. Fortunately, crafting new weapons and equipment will help them in their journeys.
Ubisoft’s new mobile game will have a fortress-based system, too. This will have to be expanded, though, in order for players to level up their Brotherhood HQs. Once successful, they should be able to acquire more rooms for both crafting and training. As of this writing, the forthcoming game is still under development. The official requirement for Android users is 4.1, while iOS is to 8. The title also requires at least 2 GB of RAM.
