It looks like "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" is going to have an additional member soon as Kim Kardashian's surrogate is reportedly three months pregnant. In June, Kim Kardashian has confirmed that she and Kanye West have agreed to have baby number three via surrogacy.
The couple decided to opt for surrogacy because of Kim's delicate health condition. During her last two pregnancies with North and Saint, she suffered from a rare medical condition called placenta accrete which, when can lead to death in some instances. In fact, the reality star even had a horrible birthing experience when the doctor had to literally use his fingernails to scrape the remaining placenta in Kim's womb.
To save themselves from the medical risks and dangers, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have chosen to have their third baby through a surrogate mother. According to US Weekly, the couple has already found a legit surrogate and she is currently three months pregnant.
Surrogate is San Diego-based
According to US Weekly, the unidentified surrogate is based in San Diego and is in her late 20s. The Kardashians reportedly got hold of her via an agency and have already processed all the needed paperwork to make the surrogacy legal.
The surrogate that they chose is not a newbie in the field because she has already been a successful surrogate even before Kim Kardashian and Kanye West chose her. She has also appeared in a promotional video for surrogacy featuring her family.
The price they have to pay
It is already an established fact that surrogacy is not easy in the pocket. In fact, for parents who are trying to look into options in having a baby, surrogacy is one of the most expensive options available. However, celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have all the financial resources they need so paying the surrogacy price for baby number three is not expected to be a problem.
According to TMZ, the celebrity couple has agreed to pay $4,500 in 10 monthly installments. If ever the baby that the surrogate is carrying will develop to be more than one fetus, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will have to pay an additional $5,000. Of course, the money will not be given directly to the surrogate but will have to be paid under the agency.
A day out with Khloe
Meanwhile, amid reports of having a three-month pregnant surrogate, Kim Kardashian was seen around town with sister, Khloe Kardashian. According to Mail Online, Kim and Khloe looked were spotted running some errands together in Los Angeles.
